Hormone health is paramount for Women’s Health.
Balanced hormones allow for smoother transitions throughout womanhood.
The first step is to ensure that you have healthy habits in place so that hormones function optimally, allowing you to breeze through your cycles with ease. Some healthy habits include: frequent exercise, nutrient dense foods, adequate water intake, stress management and proper sleep hygiene.
The second step is to correct hormone imbalances. Naturopathic Doctors achieve this through lifestyle modifications, nutritional modifications and supplementation when needed.
Some signs that your hormones are not functioning optimally include but are not limited to: bloating, headaches, irritability, night sweats, hot flashes, no menstrual cycle (and not pregnant), heavy bleeding, extreme cramps, cystic acne, frequent mood swings, inability to lose weight, infertility, etc.
Naturopathic Medicine is very beneficial for helping women attain regular menstrual cycles, monthly ovulation and minimal PMS
True or false:
Ovulation is the only way to make progesterone.
